 We Teach “Excellence in Character & in Martial Art Technique! Taekwondo is a traditional martial art originating in ancient Korea dating as far back as 37 BC. Sometimes called “Korean Karate,” taekwondo is now an Olympic sport with over 20 countries competing for the gold medal.
Taekwondo is a sport, science, and art-form that teaches powerful self-defense techniques. It also develops great values, habits, and character qualities in students. Our taekwondo staff is driven by the fact that when a student experiences success in the taekwondo studio, it will ultimately channel into successes in other areas.
Our registration and schedule are below.
- Chung-Do Kids 1 (ages 4 & 5): The Chung-Do Kids 1 class teaches 4 & 5 year-olds the importance of listening and paying attention while developing large muscle coordination through drills and purpose oriented games. Click here for a flyer.
- Chung-Do Kids 2 (ages 5 & 6): The Chung-Do Kids 2 class provides 5 & 6 year olds with a constructive outlet to release their limitless energy while gaining confidence, self-esteem and fitness. Click here for a flyer.
- Taekwondo for Kids (ages 7 thru 12): In this class, students age 7 - 12 are more technically challenged by the practice of a traditional taekwondo curriculum. Students learn the principles of "Chung Do" which means "awesome power and amazing artistic grace. Click here for a flyer.
- Taekwondo for Kids & Adults (ages 13 - adult): This traditional taekwondo class is the same as our age 7 -15 taekwondo class, except it is specifically designed for adults who want to take the challenge of learning a martial art. The classes are geared for adults who have no martial arts experience to work their way from a beginner to a black belt! Click here for a flyer.
- Family Taekwondo —This class is for at least one parent
with at least one child (age 7 and up) to take taekwondo together. Students
