Physical Fitness Made Fun

At InterActive, we believe that physical activity is a crucial part of every child’s development. Participating in an exercise program promotes overall fitness and good health. Kids who exercise regularly build strength, coordination, and confidence so they can enjoy all other types of sports. Active children increase their chances of becoming healthy adults, for a lifetime. The U.S. Government and other professional organizations recommend that children and adolescents get 30 minutes of physical activity on most, if not all, days of the week. We’re best known for our exceptional gymnastics programs, but we also offer pilates, dance, tae kwon do, cheerleading, soccer and more. We welcome beginners and experienced gymnasts in our world-class gymnasium.

Looking for a fun, challenging job teaching children about being healthy, fit and confident? At InterActive, we hire the best and brightest educators, coaches, and staff who love helping children grow and learn. Current openings:

Pilates/Fitness Instructor: Part-time instructors needed to build fitness program. Morning and evening availability is needed. Currently we are running pilates classes and would like to a variety of options for our adult customers. Hourly rate is competitive with area programs.

Girls Artistic Gymnastics Team Coach Needed: Level 6-10, optional experience required. Part-time or Full-time. Medical and dental benefits included. Salary commensurate with experience. Start immediately.

Part-time Gymnastics Instructors: Now taking applications for Part-time Gymnastics Instructors. Experience preferred, however training will be offered to out-going individuals who LOVE kids of all ages. Flexible schedule. Accepting resumes now!

Soccer Coach: Part Time Opportunity. Very Flexible hours, great opportunity for an energetic soccer coach. You must have experience in teaching children Soccer fundamentals and have the ability to work extremely well with young children.

Hip Hop Dance Instructors: We are looking for dance instructor to teach Hip Hop to children and/or adults. You must have experience in teaching children dance fundamentals and have the ability to work extremely well with young children.

Ballet, Tap and Jazz Dance Instructor: We need an instructor to teach combo classes of ballet, tap, jazz to pre-school and school-age kids. You must have experience in teaching children dance fundamentals and have the ability to work extremely well with young children.

Often called the finest in Indiana, our 30,000 square feet world-class Gymnasium is filled with high-level competition grade equipment.

Our building is full of fun, educational activities every day.

Our bright, cheerful school classrooms are staffed by experienced educators.

Children in our school programs enjoy our full-service cafeteria serving freshly made hot lunches and healthy snacks.

Our History

InterActive Academy was founded in 2000 by Don Brown. Don is a local entrepreneur in the software industry and CEO of Interactive Intelligence (NASDAQ ININ). Joining Don on the Board of InterActive Academy is Bob Compton, former venture capitalist, ex-President of Sofamor Danek, Inc., and founder of NoInk Communications, and Joe Adams, who is also on the board of IAG and operates a wilderness charity near Morris Reservoir. InterActive Academy is a 501(c)3, not for profit corporation. Construction of the first phase of the Academy was completed in April 2002.
